Location of the Conference
The Agricultural Research and Education Centre (AREC) Raumberg-Gumpenstein is located in the geographical centre of Austria in the province of Styria. Grassland of various types dominates the well structured and attractive landscape that has been formed by traditional farming over the centuries. Raumberg-Gumpenstein in the Styrian Enns Valley is surrounded by mountains belonging to the "Nördliche Kalkalpen" (Northern Calcareous Alps) in the north and to the "Niedere Tauern" in the south.
